Race to Mackinac - Horizontal

Inspired by the Race to Mackinac with Chicago in the background, this happy scene is also available as a tighter crop of sailboats… a wonderful splash of color & lake. A little background, the 333 mile Race to Mackinac is the oldest annual freshwater distance race in the wolrd. ‘The Mac’ starts at the Chicago Lighthouse and continues to Mackinac Island. We visited Mackinac Island when I was a little girl and I fell in love with the Grand Hotel and horse-drawn carriages. We rode our bikes around the island and it was magical.
